UK App Awards 2020 – Filter Recognised for Innovation in App Development

The 2020 UK App Awards were announced this week recognising exceptional design and UX across agencies, individuals and in-house teams.

UK App Finalist Badge

As a shortlisted finalist for the Safe For Work app, the team at Filter were thrilled to have been recognised by such an experienced panel of industry experts. To sit alongside a host off innovative and importantly useful apps, we knew the competition would be tight.

Although we didn’t win, we found ourselves in great company and wanted to highlight just a few of the apps that gained our attention.

City to Sea has created Refill, an app that connects people to places they can eat, drink and shop with less waste.

Future Platforms & FirstGroup created a First Bus Capacity Tracking app enabling customers to live track the location of their next bus but also its capacity.

Lumi Nova developed by BFB Labs won both the Innovation Award and the App of the Year Award. A mobile game specifically developed to help build lifelong skills to manage worries, supporting 7-12-year-olds who are facing difficulties with anxiety.

We want to congratulate all the UK App Award category winners for producing stand out work in what can only be described as a challenging year.

We are proud to have invested our time, expertise and energy into developing an innovative, relevant and purposeful application that will help companies adapt and evolve to meet the needs of their workforce
