Binal joined the Filter team back in the autumn. Having worked with Paul and Oliver before, Binal brings a wealth of experience in project management, digital planning, production and client services to the team.
Here we ask her about her career and her role!
As a Digital Project Manager I organise, prioritise and manage workflow for our team to ensure we deliver all projects on time and to spec. I also work closely with our clients, keeping them informed during all stages of the project.
I started out in digital at uSwitch.com where I realised I enjoyed being involved in the process of building solutions online. Since then I have primarily worked at Start Ups and have been lucky enough to be part of their growth. I have over 10 years’ experience in Project Management, Account Management and Digital Operations.
The people. The team are all so friendly and everyone is invested in making sure all the work we do is to a really high standard. I really appreciate how we all collaborate to solve challenges and produce solutions that exceed expectation.
I have been working on a number of projects with our team since joining in September and the best thing about all of them is seeing how happy the clients are with the final solution. Its great to be part of a team that delivers projects that meet the business needs of our clients.
Working mainly remotely, communication is extremely important. We use a variety of tools to keep in touch, however I have found the introduction of daily team stand ups has helped massively as it gives us all a chance to give a quick update on work and we are all aware of each others’ priorities and any dependencies.
I love using task management tools, my favourites being Jira and Asana. To plan project timelines, OmniPlan is great.
Outside of work, I manage my three under 6’s, so work is my balance! Whenever time permits, I love to travel and explore.
